Myahs 6th Birthday Party

Yesterday Myah had her 6th birthday party at Christina's house in Plain City.

There were about 15+ kids there, and everything went off without a hitch!!! Christina is so good with kids, they all listen very well to her and she is good at explaining the rules to the games we played.

The kids started off by playing find the "Pixie Dust" (aka the bag full of sugar), and the kids loved hiding it and telling the finders if they were hot or cold. Nate brought a beautiful Barbie cake for Myah and we all sang to her. The girls then gave Myah birthday tickles instead of spankings. It was pretty funny. We all enjoyed cake and ice cream, and thanks to Ally who made sure everyone had some and helped deliver it. Ally was such a good help at the party, and is a natural leader!!! We then open presents and then went outside to hit the pinata. I had a blast making all the kids miss when they were swinging. I think it was most of their first time with a pinata because they thought it should just stay still in the same place and I shouldn't move it. Little did they know, hahahaha. I'm thinking Ally needs to join a softball team because she has a great swing and knocked the head right off the donkey, even with me moving it!!!! The kids loaded up on candy, and then finished the party off by playing Red Rover and Duck Duck Goose until their parents showed up. We then went out to eat dinner and Myah got to wear a sombrero and have fried ice cream after dinner.

She also had birthday parties at both grandparents' houses over the weekend and had fun playing games and celebrating with all her cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and other family.

I'm looking forward to many, many, many more birthdays with the girls. I really enjoy doing stuff with them and being a part of their lives. I don't know if I can tell them enough that I feel so lucky that they have let me into their family and I'm looking forward to many more good times to come!!!!

I Am The Lucky One!!!

I said YES!!! Not that I would have said anything else! I could not have explained the night better than Jory. It was wonderful and the girls were excited to feel involved.
Jory stated that he was the Lucky One, but you see it is the other way around. I can't believe what a help Jory is to me and the girls. He is so involved that it is almost strange to have the help. Jory treats me, the girls and everyone he knows with respect and that is one thing I love about him. It's been amazing to me how well Jory and I mesh. With the kids and when the girls are with Daddy, Jory and I have an explosive relationship that I believe most people do not find in a lifetime.
And WOW, he did an awesome job picking out the ring and necklaces!!! I am so excited to get it!!
As for the date?? Well we don't know yet, but we will keep you posted!
Love You All.

One Lucky Guy (Yeah that's me)

It's official, we are engaged!!! I couldn't be happier or luckier to have found three wonderful ladies that are willing to let me into their lives and family. (It looks like 70% of the votes were correct.)

Heres how it went down for the most part. Christina and I had been ring shopping, popping in and out of mall jewelry stores and eventually made it down to the Shane Co for the last month or so. After narrowing down the bands to two choices, she decided which one she wanted and I then ordered the ring and picked out the diamond. We will have to wait until the middle of June for the band to come into the store and then the diamond will need to be set. I'm guessing the time we were shopping for rings is what is called "Unofficially Engaged." Since Christina won't be able to show off the ring for a couple months, here is a picture of the one at the store.

So last Friday Christina made a wonderful dinner for us and we were able to sit down as a family and talk to the girls about our engagement, moving, living together, and how much we love each other. I explained to them how much I loved their mom and how much I loved them. I wanted them to know that I'm not only marrying their mom, but that I'm marrying and committing myself and my love to them also. I gave them an engagement necklace as a symbol of my committment to them. Christina explained to them the significance of the wedding ring having no beginning or end and what the what the ring means in terms of unity, wholeness, committment, etc... She explained how the ring on their necklaces symbolized the same. From what I could tell the girls understood what we had talked about and were happy, although they both had their own way of showing it. Ally was more straight forward and was able to expressed her happiness, where as Myah still had a little shield up and took a little bit longer to express her happiness. Ally wanted to try on the necklace immediately, and Myah wanted to make sure it didn't get ruined and kept it in the box it came in and then place it in their jewelry box.

I'm super excited to be able to spend more time with Christina and the girls. We'll keep you posted on whats going on with the wedding plans and future adventures. Did I mention that I'm one lucky guy!!!!

Sego Lily Massage

We were finally able to redeem the Sego Lily Gift Certificate, that Jory gave me for Valentines Day, on Friday for a Couples Massage Class. What was suppose to be a group setting ended up to be a private session with the massage therapist. WOW!! It was awesome!!! Can't wait to do it again on Friday!!! Thank you baby ;).
